Friendly Dog Collars was designed as a visual communication tool to let others know if your dog is approachable or requires space. Initially inspired by the traffic light system Green/Friendly, Yellow/Nervous and Caution/Red we have since expanded to include an additional 12 ranges.
Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with a non-reactive dog so our mission is to promote situational awareness about others needs.
If you see a dog in a yellow, orange or red PLEASE give them the space they deserve.
Our dream is to be supported by Councils when it comes to Responsible Dog Ownership and to have educational programs in place to teach children about how the traffic light system relates to dogs.
